What Defiles a Person
After Jesus corrected the Pharisees about some of their traditions and told them that they were not following the commandments of God, He gathered the people and began to explain what defiles a person. In this Bible study, we will learn what Jesus taught the people and discover what defiles us. We will also learn what we can do to correct it.

This lesson was such a blessing this morning. I woke up this morning reflecting on what could be wrong in my life through some struggles- maybe I am not doing enough or is there something I can do to correct my life. Yet what this lesson reminded me of is that it is by grace that I am saved. I don’t have to work for it but I do need to ensure that I keep my heart clean - it’s not works because just like I said before I have to ask God and His Spirit to help me. This lesson is proof

My take away from this lesson is that it does not matter what you put in your stomach because it can be released but it is what comes out of your heart.Because God looks at the inside of a man not the outside. I always ask God to create in me a clean heart and renew a right spirit in me.
